Stream Alabama Shakes’ Sound & Color

Athens, Alabama roots/garage rock quartet Alabama Shakes made quite a splash with their 2012 debut Boys & Girls, which means a lot of high expectations for follow-up Sound & Color. The new record, out April 21 via ATO, looks to add some pop-oriented genre experimentation into group’s mix, and looks to be an interesting listen, for sure. But you don’t have to take our word for it; the entire record is streaming a week before its debut via NPR Music.
