The xx are back in the studio

Dreamy, moody UK trio The xx are recording new music. Spin points out that the band has posted a new photo on Facebook from the studio, with the caption “Winter studio hibernation. xx The xx.” The time in the studio is presumably to record their third LP and first full-length album since 2012’s Coexist. Take a look at the photo below. However, members of The xx have been busy outside of their full-band efforts. Earlier this year, band member Jamie xx released his debut solo album, In Colour, which also featured appearances by his bandmates Romy Madley Croft and Oliver Sim.
