On August 19, Exploded View—the new collaborative effort between British/German post-punk singer Anika and a team of Mexico City based producers—will release their debut album via Sacred Bones. And it’s really good; you might have noticed that it’s our Album of the Week. The band has shared a few tracks from the album so far, including the standout singles “No More Parties in the Attic,” “Orlando” and “Lost Illusions.” Today, however, the album is streaming in its entirety, courtesy of NPR First Listen. Here’s what we said about it: “These are musicians who share a common musical language of ’60s psych, krautrock, post-punk, industrial and electronic, fusing them all together in a rapturous orgy of inspiration.”

Translation: You definitely need to hear this album. Listen to the Exploded View album stream below, and read our review here.
