Ted Leo announces new album, The Hanged Man

Ted Leo has just announced his first album in seven years. On September 8 he’ll release The Hanged Man, and was funded via campaigns on Kickstarter and Backerkit. Pre-orders are available in a number of packages that include enamel pins, tote bags, shirts and copies of his previous albums. He’s released a new track from the album, titled “You’re Like Me.” Stream it here.

In a press release, Leo describes the album as being written during a time of “personal desolation that felt fallow but was actually very fertile.” He’s also announced tour dates, which you can take a look at below, along with the album’s tracklist.

The Hanged Man follows 2010’s The Brutalist Bricks.
