Dirty Beaches reveals details of new double album

Dirty Beaches, the noir-pop project of singer-songwriter Alex Zhang Hungtai, announced earlier this year that his follow-up to 2011’s Badlands was going to be a double LP. Titled Drifters/Love Is the Devil, the album will be released via Zoo Music on May 21. The album is said to explore two different themes, and per a press release, “one explores the night life of bright neon temptations dwelling in hedonistic irresponsible values, and the other of the inner world, one of remorse and lovelorn tragedies.”
