Matt Pond PA set to release new album - 11.19.2009
Matt Pond PA, the prolific chamber pop outfit responsible for many underrated gems of the last decade, is set to release a new album in the spring. Titled The Dark Leaves, the album is set to hit shelves in March 2010, and is described as "the far flung, stories and symbols of inconsequential pain that somehow end up getting a person completely absorbed by their own pitch-black night -- all the way back around to when the dark finally leaves."
But before the cryptic spookiness begins, the band is set to release a set of three 7-inch singles called "The Threeep," the first edition of which is available right now.
Threeep, part 1: Starting
Side A: “Starting” (from The Dark Leaves)
Side B: “Stoping (non-album track)
Side B: “The Colour Out Of Space” (non-album track)
