Nate Dogg hologram rumored to appear at Coachella - 04.12.2012

It's getting harder and harder to be surprised by bizarre music news, but there's always something new out there to baffle us. According to TMZ, Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg didn't want to leave their fallen comrade Nate Dogg out of their performance at Coachella, so in order to fix that, they're using a hologram.

An image of Nate will reportedly be projected onto the Coachella stage, alongside Dre, Snoop, Kurupt, Warren G and Daz Dillinger, as if... he's actually... there!

FACT magazine is currently in search of some answers behind this story, though reports thus far are unconfirmed. That said, if it turns out to be true... that would be something.

Axl Rose tells Rock N' Roll Hall of Fame: 'You don't respect me!' - 04.12.2012

Axl Rose has told the Associated Press he is snubbing invitation to his band's induction into the Rock N' Roll Hall of Fame on Saturday. Uncertainty has shrouded just what exactly would transpire with all previous members of the famously dysfunctional yet highly successful band expected to attend, with Billie Joe Armstrong of Green Day officiating. Slash was last week dubious, but unsure whether the band would mark the occasion with a temporary reformation onstage. Axl accused the Hall of Fame of not respecting him, and banned them from insinuating any form of blessing of the proceedings on his behalf.

Perhaps he took issue at expectation to adhere to a strict schedule?

Report on the BBC.

"There's a seemingly endless amount of revisionism and fantasies out there for the sake of self-promotion and business opportunities masking the actual realities.

"So let sleeping dogs lie or lying dogs sleep or whatever. Time to move on. People get divorced. Life doesn't owe you your own personal happy ending especially at another's, or in this case several others', expense.

"I strongly request that I not be inducted in absentia and please know that no one is authorised nor may anyone be permitted to accept any induction for me or speak on my behalf."

"I was honoured, excited and hoped that somehow this would be a good thing. Of course, if Guns N' Roses were to be inducted it'd be somewhat of a complicated or awkward situation."
