Ash Borer album title, cover revealed - 06.25.2012


Canadian metal powerhouse Profound Lore announced earlier this year that California black metal outfit Ash Borer is among the label's newest signings, and in a Tweet, the label gave a sneak peek of what to expect from the band in 2012. Ash Borer's new album is titled Cold of Ages, and the image above is the album cover. This album follow's the group's epic, three-track self-titled album released last year (which is sorta hard to find...). No release date has yet been announced, but Profound Lore is expected to release the album later this year.

Baroness' Yellow & Green, the band's follow up to 2009's Blue Record, is out July 17 via Relapse, and we've already heard two tracks, "Take My Bones Away" and "March to the Sea," the latter of which is on our latest installment of the Endless Playlist. Today, Spin debuted "Eula," the epic closer to first disc Yellow (did we mention it's a double album?).

Jens Lekman announces tour dates - 06.25.2012


Swedish singer-songwriter Jens Lekman releases his new album, I Know What Love Isn't, Sept. 4 via Secretly Canadian. One week later, Lekman launches a long series of tour dates throughout Europe and North America, including a run with Taken by Trees.

Blur are to preview two new and unheard songs 'Under The Westway' and 'The Puritan' as part of a live stream exclusive to @blurofficial on Monday 2nd July at 6:15pm. The stream will open with 'Under The Westway' followed by an interview with the group, before 'The Puritan' is performed at 7:15pm.
