Tame Impala tease new album - 06.27.2012
Tame Impala have released an album teaser for their follow-up to 2010's Innerspeaker, because that's apparently what bands do now. The album appears to be called Lonerism, and you can watch the trailer below.

Corin Tucker, formerly of Portland indie rock trio Sleater-Kinney, is releasing a new album in September titled Kill My Blues. And the Corin Tucker Band has dropped the first single from the album, which is called "Groundhog Day."

Why? announce new EP, LP - 06.27.2012


It looks like Bay Area genre mixers Why? are going to have a pretty busy 2012. On Aug. 14, the group will release a new EP titled Sod In the Seed, via Anticon. And later on this fall, the group will release a full-length album, their first since 2009's Eskimo Snow. Listen to new track "Sod In the Seed" here, and check out the tracklist below.

Listen: New Joanna Newsom Song 'The Diver's Wife' - 06.27.2012
Joanna Newsom last night played a new song from September's forthcoming follow up to Have One On Me.

Newsom was performing on a bill with Philip Glass to raise funds to keep San Francisco's Henry Miller Library in Big Sur open.
