The Weeknd working on new material - 07.13.2012
The Weeknd released three stellar mixtapes in 2011 -- House of Balloons, Thursday and Echoes of Silence -- and it appears Abel Tesfaye is preparing some new work.
Today, The Weeknd tweeted, "The path to complete insanity has begun once again, another body of work..." Admittedly, it's a little cryptic, but it means he's working on something, which is enough for us!

ATP I'll Be Your Mirror moves to NYC - 07.13.2012
The All Tomorrows Parties I'll Be Your Mirror festival curated by the Afghan Whigs will be held in New York City at Pier 36 in Manhattan, instead of Asbury Park, New Jersey. According to a release, the cause is "unavoidable logistical concerns," and those unable to attend due to the changes will receive a full refund.
Sharon Van Etten, Louis CK, Factory Floor and Reigning Sound are no longer scheduled to perform.
However, there is a new batch of artists that have been added to the already stellar lineup, including Philip Glass and Tyondai Braxton, Janeane Garofalo, Lightning Bolt, Lee Ranaldo, Chavez, Kurt Braunohler, Afterhours, Joseph Arthur, the Album Leaf, the Psychic Paramount, Braids, Tall Firs, Blanck Mass, Endless Boogie, Demdike Stare and DJ Jonathan Toubin.
This group of artists rounds out the list of previously announced acts including The Roots, Godspeed You! Black Emperor, The Antlers, Dirty Three, Hot Snakes, Mark Lanegan and Emeralds.
Additionally, ATP released a statement about its finances. Festival director Barry Hogan has voluntary liquidated the company and transferred its assets to a new company called Willwall Ltd. This change of ownership will not affect any events scheduled to take place, including the Shellac-curated Nightmare Before Christmas.
