Ben Gibbard announces solo album - 07.17.2012
Death Cab For Cutie frontman and newly on-the-market bachelor Ben Gibbard has announced the release of his debut solo album, Former Lives, which will be out Oct. 16 via Barsuk. Some of the songs on the album date back eight years, and were recorded at The Ship, the studio owned and operated by Earlimart's Aaron Espinoza.
While this is Gibbard's first solo full-length, it's actually the second solo album from a Death Cab member, Chris Walla's Field Manual having been released in 2008.
