Austin City Limits schedule revealed - 07.26.2012


There are still a few months to go before the Austin City Limits festival, which is scheduled for Oct. 12-14 in Austin, Texas, but that doesn't mean you can't plan ahead. The full festival schedule has been revealed, so start prioritizing your conflicts. Jack White or Neil Young? M83 or M. Ward? Metric or Andrew Bird? The Roots or the Shins?

On the plus side, nobody's playing during the Red Hot Chili Peppers' set, so you can get a little extra sleep that night. Check out the full schedule here.

Aphex Twin to reissue two classic albums on vinyl - 07.26.2012


Aphex Twin will be reissuing two of his classic '90s albums, I Care Because You Do and Richard D. James Album, which will be released Sept. 18 via 1972 Records. This marks the first time in more than a decade that these records will be available on vinyl.

According to Exclaim, the Richard D. James release is only one LP, which means the bonus tracks from the Boy/Girl EP won't fit. Oh well.

The Antlers announce tour dates - 07.26.2012


With a new EP out this week titled Undersea, The Antlers are gearing up for a tour of the United States, UK and Europe. Their itinerary primarily includes festival dates, but they've lined up a few smaller shows as well.

Pinback announces new album - 07.26.2012


On Oct. 16, Pinback will release Information Retrieved, the group's first album since 2007's Autumn of the Seraphs, via Temporary Residence Limited. Its cover art and tracklist have not yet been revealed.
