M.I.A. reveals some details of new album - 08.07.2012
M.I.A.'s fourth album, Matangi, looks to be materializing in the not-too-distant future. Via Twitter exchanges, she revealed some details about the album, namely that it will be out by December, is like "Paul Simon on acid," and stated, "no one in the industry collected blows in the last 3 years as much as me, this is a fuck you to them and a thank you to you." Yowza, not to mention the album will feature only producers "that don't act like fame whore coloniser." We think that's probably a jab at Diplo, but it's always so hard to tell.
She also posted what looks like a tracklist via Twitter, though we'll find out more in the future. And while "Bad Girls" is not on the pic, M.I.A. confirms it is on the album.

Watch the new Neurosis album trailer - 08.07.2012
Bay Area sludge metal legends Neurosis are releasing a brand new album this fall, their first since 2007's Given to the Rising, though not many details have emerged thus far. However, the band has been releasing a series of album trailers, and the latest one, "Electrical Transmission III" is below. Not sure how accurately it reflects the sound of the album, but cool stuff anyhow.

Video: Tom Waits - "Hell Broke Luce" - 08.07.2012
Tom Waits has been teasing something new for the past week or so, even leading some to speculate he was launching a Tom Waits cruise. We've gotten the real answer today, however, an incredible new video for "Hell Broke Luce," from new album Bad As Me. The Matt Mahurin-directed clip features shadow puppetry, marching skeletons, lightning, fireworks and lots of optical illusions. In other words, it's amazing. Check it out below.
