Next Week: Treble presents the Top 200 Songs of the '70s - 08.10.2012
About once every year, Treble's staffers huddle to put together a list of our favorite music from a given time period, which typically happens every summer. Last year we offered up our Top 200 Songs of the '80s (which was in the winter, but whatever), and this year we're stepping back even further. Starting Monday, we're rolling out our Top 200 Songs of the '70s.
The time seemed right to revisit the decade, for a lot of reasons. Punk's big breakthrough happened 35 years ago, for one, and Ziggy Stardust turned 40 this year, for another. And the deeper one digs into the decade, the more it seems like one of the most truly inventive and radical periods for musical growth. While the rollout is going on, we're taking a weeklong break from reviews, but news will still be active. So, warm up the hifi and your 8-track and join us next week for 200 of our favorite tracks from a decade most of us don't remember.

Video: Jens Lekman - "I Know What Love Isn't" - 08.10.2012
Jens Lekman keeps it pretty simple on the new clip for "I Know What Love Isn't," from his forthcoming album of the same name, out Sept. 4 via Secretly Canadian. The video, directed by Marcus Söderlund, finds Lekman performing in a spare white room for a spacious effect, though some surprises crop up over time. Watch it below.
