Lower Dens introduce their own beer - 09.13.2012

Musical artists and alcohol have long been a match made in heaven, so it comes as no surprise that more musicians are releasing their own microbrews. Brooklyn psych-rock outfit Lower Dens are the latest to do so, partnering with Stillwater Artisanal to release "Stillwater Artisanal Sensory Series V.1 - Lower Dens."

The ale, brewed with hibiscus, is based on an interpretation of the band's song "In the End is the Beginning." And on the bottle is a QR code that links to an exclusive performance of the song. The beer will be available in 35 states, in 375 ml bottles and 20L kegs.

We recommend drinking it while spinning the band's new album, Nootropics.
