Video: A Place to Bury Strangers - "Leaving Tomorrow" - 09.14.2012
A Place to Bury Strangers' new video for "Leaving Tomorrow," from Worship, takes its inspiration from "Katsu Gee" by Momo Fujiwara, and was captured entirely on the iPhone 8mm app. Per a press release, "lead singer & frontman Oliver Ackermann plays the hapless Terry who is stalked and kidnapped by Robi Gonzalez's Wizard. Bassist Dion Lunadon comes to the rescue as Handsome Saviour of Mankind (on his faithful steed Mr. Toots) but is thwarted when the Wizard transforms Terry into Terrible."

Sufjan Stevens possibly working on more Christmas material - 09.14.2012

Sufjan Stevens has recorded an entire box set of Christmas music in the past, and as of this morning, there are clues indicating his helpers are working on more back at the workshop. First off, teen rapper Kitty Pride posted the following update on Facebook:

"just finished my christmas song for sufjan stevens....................(:"

We can honestly say we didn't see that coming! And in addition, Sufjan has started his own Tumblr, with the title "Advent of the Apocalypse!" and an animated gif that looks like a scene from '70s horror flick "Black Christmas."

If this does mean Sufjan's got some Xmas tunes for us to hear, it'll be his first set of new music since 2010's The Age of Adz.
