Video: Crystal Castles - "Plague" - 09.24.2012
Crystal Castles have revealed the first video from the follow-up to their 2010 self-titled album. The video, for new single "Plague," was posted on the band's Facebook page, and features disturbing footage from Andrzej Zulawski film Possession. The video was created by Ivan Grbin, a fan of the band's, and the group liked it so much they decided to go ahead and make it official.
The second single from the album, "Wrath of God," will be released this week.

Grizzly Bear, St. Vincent, other musicians join HeadCount's voter registration push - 09.24.2012

Sept. 25 (that's tomorrow) is National Voter Registration Drive, and HeadCount, a non-partisan group, has added a social media campaign to its registration push, which includes various musicians, celebrities and comedians sharing photos of themselves with the organization's "Register to Vote" clipboard, and sharing them with the hashtag #925NVRD. As you can see, Grizzly Bear is one of the participants.
Other artists have joined the campaign, including St. Vincent, TV on the Radio and Zola Jesus. Head to HeadCount's Facebook page to see a bunch of other artists' photos, including Stephen Colbert, Big Boi, Wayne Coyne, Merrill Garbus of tUnE-yArDs, Girl Talk, Death Cab for Cutie, My Morning Jacket, Santigold, David Cross and many others.

High On Fire announces North American tour dates - 09.24.2012
High On Fire had to cancel some tour dates in support of new album De Vermis Mysteriis earlier this year when frontman Matt Pike checked into rehab for alcohol abuse. But the sludge metal trio is back in business and touring the states and Canada.

Scott Walker announces full album details - 09.24.2012
Scott Walker will release his proper follow-up to 2006's disturbing, beautiful The Drift Dec. 3 via 4AD in the UK, and the next day in the states. The album is called Bish Bosch, as the above image appeared on a cryptic 4AD Tumblr post, and has been confirmed with a new website for the album.
Per a statement on the website, Walker said, “I was thinking about making the title refer to a mythological, all-encompassing, giant woman artist.” And the title seems to refer to legendary artist Hieronymous Bosch. And the album seems to contain many of the themes that have played a part in Walker's music over the years, including dictators, art and death.
