Crystal Castles announce new album (III), new track "Wrath of God" - 09.26.2012

Chaotic electro duo Crystal Castles have just announced that the title of their follow up to 2010's Crystal Castles is (III), which is probably just shorthand for it being self-titled for a third time. The band has referred to the new material as "bleak," and the chilling image above is its album cover, which certainly fits the theme.

The image is actually an award winning photo by Samuel Aranda, which depicts a woman in Yemen cradling her injured son. The album is out Nov. 6 via Casablanca/Fiction/Universal Republic. Listen to new track "Plague," below.

UPDATE: The band has just debuted a new track titled "Wrath of God," which you can also stream below.

Brian Eno announces new solo album - 09.26.2012

Brian Eno has been pretty busy in the last couple years, having released two albums — Small Craft on a Milk Sea and Drums Between the Bells — which found the veteran musician teaming up with a handful of collaborators. However, Eno has a new proper solo album due Nov. 13 via Warp, titled LUX. The album is a four-part suite that evolved from a work currently housed in the Great Gallery of the Palace of Venaria in Turin, Italy. So it's a little more in the line of ambient music he began producing in the late '70s. The vinyl edition of the album, which contains four 300x300mm prints, will follow a month after the album, on Dec. 11.

Tracklist:

1. LUX 1 (19:22)
2. LUX 2 (18:14)
3. LUX 3 (19:19)
4. LUX 4 (18:28)
