Band of Horses announce new tour dates - 10.08.2012
Band of Horses had to cancel some recent tour dates in support of new album Mirage Rock, as the package "Railroad Revival" tour with Willie Nelson was called off. So the South Carolina group has lined up a series of new dates to make up for the canceled shows, which have been added to an already full itinerary.

Sufjan Stevens announces Christmas sing-along tour - 10.08.2012
Sufjan Stevens has announced a month of tour dates to celebrate Yuletide cheer in North America, just in time for the holidays. It's called "Surfjohn Stevens Christmas Sing-A-Long: Seasonal Affective Disorder Yuletide Disaster Pageant on Ice." No really, that's what it's called.
The tour coincides with the release of a Christmas box set being released in November, so if you can't possibly get enough Christmas cheer, Sufjan's got you covered.

On Oct. 16, Godspeed You! Black Emperor release their first new album in a decade, titled ALLELUJAH! DON'T BEND! ASCEND!, via Constellation. However, you can stream it a week in advance, courtesy of The Guardian. The album comprises two 20-minute tracks and two six-minute tracks, and you can hear all 52 minutes of post-rock glory.
