Death Grips post infringement letters from Epic on Facebook - 10.31.2012
The never-ending saga of Death Grips' publicity stunt chase has reached a new level today. At the beginning of the month, the Sacramento-based hip-hop group posted their new album NO LOVE DEEP WEB online, as a free download, supposedly without the acknowledgement or approval of their label, Epic Records.
Today, the band posted email correspondence from the legal dept. at Epic with regard to the stunt, warning the group about their contract infringement, on Facebook, with the message: "HAHAHAHAHAHAHA NOW FUCK OFF."
You can check out the email here. Also, Death Grips' Twitter account seems to have disappeared. This is probably not the end of this.
