It’s become a lot more common these days to see musicians collaborating with creators of culinary consumable items, like James Murphy’s “House of Good” coffee, Mastodon’s Black Tongue IPA, and Mogwai whisky (which is totally sold out… bummer). St. Vincent is the latest to get into the act, having collaborated with Intelligentsia coffee roasters on a new signature coffee called “Bring Me Your Mugs” (you know, ’cause her new album has that song “Bring Me You Loves” … we didn’t have to tell you that).

Annie Clark shared the following statement about the coffee collaboration, via coffee news site Sprudge:

I love coffee. I sometimes get excited at night thinking of the coffee I’ll get to drink in the morning. Coffee is reason to wake up.  There are other reasons, of course. But coffee is the incentive, at the very least. I love Intelligentsia coffee. I have stood at their counter waiting for my order, like a fan waiting for a show. Eager. Expectant.  So when my favorite coffee shop approached me about collaborating on a signature coffee, I was thrilled.

The St. Vincent coffee is part of Intelligentsia’s Flecha Roja project in Costa Rica. Take a look at what the “Bring Me Your Mugs” coffee will look like below. It’s now available in Intelligentsia stores, and will soon be available on St. Vincent’s website.
