Kurt Vile reveals new single, album details
The details surrounding Kurt Vile’s follow-up to his spaced-out Americana classic, 2011’s Smoke Ring for My Halo, are finally confirmed: The new record, Wakin On A Pretty Daze, is scheduled to be released April 9 in the United States via Matador and yes, it contains a track titled, “Air Bud.” Check out the album art below. The record’s lead single and 9-plus minute opening track, “Wakin On A Pretty Day,” was also released today. Just so you know it’s official, the video shows a couple of taggers creating some guerrilla marketing for the upcoming release.
