Steve Reich reissue box set coming via ECM Records

Pioneer of minimalism Steve Reich will see a series of reissues of his iconic work this fall. On September 30, ECM Records will release The ECM Recordings, a three-CD box set that will feature Music for 18 Musicians, Music for a Large Ensemble/Violin Phase/Octet and Tehillim. The box set will also reprint Reich’s original liner notes from the initial releases, as well as archival photographs and a new essay from critic Paul Griffiths.
