I’m not quite certain how you can mention all these Bronx artists and certainly I give them rspect, but no mention of Dion and the Belmonts. Hell, ‘The Belmonts’ the Bronx street is even in their name. What up?

I agree with everything except “Neighborhood Threat” and “Tumble and Twirl; I would dump the former and keep the latter.

I’ve thought along these lines myself as I think Blue Jean, Alien, Forgetting and Tumble are all good songs. I waffle on Dancing with the Big Boys but I’d keep that one too. I would have gone with a slightly difference order, kicking of Side A with Blue Jean.

1. Treble does not specifically cover San Diego music. It covers music from everywhere.

2. Nobody ever said Baroness was death metal.

Baroness?? NOT DEATH METAL. There are so many amazing metal bands in San Diego why not write something about them and support the community instead of pandering to these established out of town acts not to mention their lack of relation to the genre you’re claiming to write about..
