The Cult announce new album, Under the Midnight Sun
The Cult have announced a new album. On October 7, the group will release Under the Midnight Sun—their first in six years—via Black Hill. The first single is called “Give Me Mercy,” which you can hear below.
“When the world stopped, I had this moment to write in real time, to calculate,” says vocalist Ian Astbury. “I was compelled by this vision, this anomaly, this memory, of being under the midnight sun. Tom (Dagelty, producer) helped us bring a new musical shape and frequency to our process.”
The band are also touring this summer, with support from Black Rebel Motorcycle Club and Zola Jesus. Check out those dates below.
