Fleet Foxes announce winter solstice livestream
Fleet Foxes have announced A Very Lonely Solstice Livestream. On December 21 (the winter solstice), Robin Pecknold will perform a solo acoustic set from St. Ann & the Holy Trinity Church in Brooklyn, New York, at 6 p.m. Pacific/9 Eastern. He’ll also be joined on one song by the Resistance Revival Chorus. Find tickets for the livestream here. See the flyer below.
Fleet Foxes will also make available all of the stems from the album on Bandcamp on Friday, so that fans and other creators can make something new out of its parts.
“VERY excited to release all of the stems for Shore this Friday on Bandcamp,” says Pecknold in a press release. “This is eleven hours of all of the album’s isolated tracks, solo’d drums, vocals, horns, bass, guitars – every individual piece of every song untangled and laid bare. These aren’t royalty free, but any and all remixing / sampling / twisting / creative reuse and reimagining for your personal, non-commercial use is highly encouraged. And if you want to sample for commercial release, just get in touch. Enjoy!”
Fleet Foxes’ latest album is Shore.
