Hear a new song from Heather Woods Broderick, “Blood Run Through Me”
Heather Woods Broderick has shared a new song. “Blood Run Through Me” is her first single since the release of her instrumental album Domes from earlier this year, and her first solo pop single since 2019’s Invitation. It’s a dreamy, melodic pop song with a warm blanket of synths and a midtempo pulse, with a black and white video directed by Jeremy Johnstone and conceptualized by Ben Stubbington. Check it out below, and see Broderick’s upcoming tour dates with Beth Orton.
Broderick says her latest single is “about human connection and the ways in which we move through our experiences, in relation to one another. Everyone has their own perspective or view through which they experience life, and although we move through life somewhat collectively, we each have our own story to tell.”
Heather Woods Broderick’s “White Tail” is featured on our list of the 100 Best Songs of 2019.
