Jenny Hval shares new single, “Jupiter,” announces 2022 tour

Jenny Hval has announced she’s signed with long-running UK indie label 4ADwhose roster over the past four decades has included Bauhaus, The Birthday Party, Pixies and Cocteau Twins, and which has released recent albums by Helado Negro and Dry Cleaning. Her first single to be released via 4AD is titled “Jupiter,” and it’s a lengthy atmospheric ballad with a slow and climactic build. Check it out below.

Earlier this year, Hval released Meneskekollektivet as Lost Girls, her project with Håvard Volden; it was one of our favorite albums of April. Hval’s “Ashes to Ashes” was our number one song of 2019.
