Oneohtrix Point Never – “Still Life (Betamale)” (NSFW)

Sometimes art is uncomfortable, and sometimes desire is even more uncomfortable — that’s one of the major takeaways from the video for “Still Life (Betamale)”, from Oneohtrix Point Never’s new album R Plus Seven, out Oct. 1. The video, by artist/filmmaker Jon Rafman, crafted a visual sequence that draws “images from a wide range of online fetish sites, engaging with the theme of obsessive desire,” per a press release. There are images of squalid computer workstations, juxtaposed against images of furries, Hentai, and other peculiar and disturbing images. Obviously, this is NSFW (and was even removed from YouTube due to a violation of its terms of service). Watch below.
