PJ Harvey announces vinyl reissue of Stories from the City, Stories from the Sea
The next title in PJ Harvey‘s ongoing reissue campaign has been announced. On February 26, she’ll release 2000’s Stories from the City, Stories from the Sea on vinyl via UMC/Island Records. As with all of the previous vinyl reissues of her albums thus far, the album will be accompanied by a vinyl release of demos from the album. Find pre-order info here.
Stories from the City, Stories from the Sea was produced by Harvey with Rob Ellis and Mick Harvey, and featured a guest appearance from Radiohead’s Thom Yorke on the track “This Mess We’re In.” The album won the Mercury Prize in the UK in 2001. The previously announced reissue of PJ Harvey’s Is This Desire? will be released on January 29.
