The National have announced they’re reissuing some of their early releases. On February 26th, 4AD will release vinyl reissues of their self-titled debut album, their 2003 album Sad Songs for Dirty Lovers, and their 2004 EP Cherry Tree. All three releases have been remastered at Abbey Road Studios, and will be released on both vinyl and CD formats. The National and Sad Songs were previously released on vinyl in 2017 via Brassland, and the last pressing of Cherry Tree was in 2016. Find more info, including preorders, here.

The National’s last album was 2019’s I Am Easy to Find, which was one of our Top 50 Albums of 2019.

The National’s Alligator and Boxer are both featured on our list of the Top 100 Indie Rock Albums of the ’00s.
