The Smile have announced a new live album. Following the release of their debut, A Light for Attracting Attention, earlier this year, the trio of Thom Yorke, Jonny Greenwood and Tom Skinner will release The Smile At Montreux Jazz Festival, July 2022, digitally on Wednesday, December 14. It documents the band’s performance at Switzerland’s Montreux Jazz Festival earlier this year; the festival has been held annually since 1967 and has hosted artists including Nina Simone, Miles Davis and Wu-Tang Clan. The band will also be premiering the filmed performance via their YouTube channel on Wednesday as well, which includes the previously unreleased song, “Bending Hectic.” Check out a trailer below.
