Premiere: Oscillator Bug – “Fuzzy Peach”
Oscillator Bug, the project of Chicago’s Zaid Maxwell (who also performs with Shapers, The Hood Internet and Black Moth Super Rainbow’s Tobacco), is releasing new EP ZP this month, and today we’re premiering a brand new track from the EP titled “Fuzzy Peach.” The track is a lightly psychedelic mixture of big drums, a gentle chiming melody, space-age synthesizers, a krautrock-inspired rhythm and a general sense of slightly disorienting fun. It’s not too far off from what Caribou was doing, back in the days when Dan Snaith went by Manitoba. Listen to the Oscillator Bug “Fuzzy Peach” stream below.
Oscillator Bug’s ZP is out February 19.
Oscillator Bug ZP tracklist:
1. Twisting Every Way
2. Run Along Run
3. Brain Rain
4. Soft Rabbit
5. Fuzzy Peach
