More artists are starting to pull their music from streaming on Spotify, in response to CEO Daniel Ek’s $700 million investment in a military AI startup. Deerhoof and Xiu Xiu each announced they were withdrawing their music from the streaming platform, and King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard did likewise. Now, Godspeed You! Black Emperor have also pulled their music from Spotify.

Godspeed You! Black Emperor don’t have any official social media accounts, and they haven’t made any official statement about it. But the Canadian collective seem to be taking it a step further by removing their music from other major streaming services as well, including Tidal. Two of the band’s Kranky-released albums are still on Apple Music, but a representative told Pitchfork that those will be taken down as well. “Kranky has always granted artists control over how their music is presented and disseminated,” the label representative said.

However, the complete Godspeed You! Black Emperor catalog is still available on Bandcamp for stream and purchase.
