Twin Shadow announces new album, Eclipse, new track “Turn Me Up”
George Lewis Jr., aka Twin Shadow, is working on his follow-up to 2012’s Confess, and while we anticipate the release of that album, he’s got some new music to share as 2014 comes to a close. This morning, he released “Turn Me Up,” via Soundcloud.
Lewis says in the Soundcloud description, “I think it’s important to let people take what they need from songs instead of explaining too much about what they mean for me personally. But my friends keep asking, ‘Turn me up’, what’s that mean? I keep saying, Take more from me. Ask more of me. Give me more back. Stop fighting against the things you want the most.”
Update: Lewis’ new album is called Eclipse, and will be released on March 17 via Warner Bros.
