Premiere: Stream the new Shotty EP, Little Lady Death
Next week, Los Angeles trio Shotty will release their new EP Little Lady Death via Manimal Vinyl/Cautionary Tail. The EP is an upbeat blend of fuzzy, ’90s-style alternative rock with sputtering beats and synths. The songs are super catchy, loaded with distortion and frequently just on the borderline of grunge. In other words, it rocks pretty hard, but with enough other pop elements to make it something even more effervescent than your average rock record. They’ve garnered comparisons to the likes of The Posies and the Flaming Lips, and that’s a pretty good place to start. Ahead of the release of the EP, we’re premiering a stream of the whole record, So you can soak in every last riff, chorus and hook they’re ready to throw at you.
