Friko announce new album, Something Worth Waiting For

Chicago indie rock outfit Friko are releasing a new album. On April 24, they’ll release Something Worth Waiting For via ATO. The album was produced by John Congleton (Cloud Nothings, Angel Olsen, Baroness) and the first single is “Seven Degrees.” Hear it below.
“On our first record we were much more involved in the technical aspect of everything, but this time John made it clear that he wanted us to just come in and do our thing,” said drummer Bailey Minzenberger in a press release. “I think that allowed us to let go in a way that we never had before, and because of that we captured something very raw.”
