Black Eyes archival albums

This spring, D.C. post-hardcore/post-punk outfit Black Eyes are playing a handful of reunion shows, their first in nearly two decades. And today, they’ve announced the release of four new archival albums, featuring recordings from 2001 to 2004, all of which will be released on April 10. They include S/T Demos, featuring demo tracks of songs featured on their self-titled debut album, as well as Cough Demos, featuring demo tracks from their sophomore album. They’re also releasing two albums of live recordings, Live in San Francisco 5/23/2003 and Live In Amsterdam 11/5/2003. They’re also releasing a print zine, compiled by Chris Richards, Washington Post music critic and former member of Q and Not U. It’s titled Speaking In Tongues: Black Eyes 2001-2004, and it’s available to pre-order via Black Eyes’ Bandcamp, along with the other four albums.

Black Eyes tour dates:

April 7: Washington, DC @ Black Cat
April 8: New York, NY @ Market Hotel
April 9: Philadelphia, PA @ First Unitarian Churc
