Bruce Springsteen has released a new song, “Streets of Minneapolis.” The new song is a response to ICE agents killing Renee Good and Alex Pretti in Minneapolis, as well as the overall occupation and acts of violence in the city by the government agency. Hear it below.

Springsteen said in a statement on social media: “I wrote this song on Saturday, recorded it yesterday and released it to you today in response to the state terror being visited on the city of Minneapolis. It’s dedicated to the people of Minneapolis, our innocent immigrant neighbors and in memory of Alex Pretti and Renee Good. Stay free.”

Springsteen has recently spoken out about the Trump administration’s use of violence, particularly through ICE, against U.S. citizens and immigrants, describing them as “Gestapo tactics.”
