Elvis Costello to play early material on 2025 tour

Elvis Costello and the Imposters, with Charlie Sexton, have announced a 2025 tour focused on Costello’s early material. “Radio Soul!: The Early Songs of Elvis Costello,” will feature setlists of songs from 1977’s My Aim is True on up to 1986’s Blood and Chocolate. The tour kicks off next June in Seattle and wraps up in July in Miami. Check out those dates below. Tickets available at Costello’s website.

Costello said in a statement: “You can expect the unexpected and the faithful in equal measure. Don’t forget this show is ‘Performed by Elvis Costello & The Imposters,’ an ensemble which includes three people who first recorded this music and two more who bring something entirely new. They are nobody’s tribute band. 

“The Imposters are a living, breathing, swooning, swinging, kicking and screaming rock and roll band who can turn their hands to a pretty ballad when the opportunity arises.”
