FACS announce new album, Wish Defense

FACS have announced a new album. On February 7 they’ll release Wish Defense via Trouble in Mind. It’s the final album to be engineered by Steve Albini. Today, they’ve shared a new single, the title track, which you can check out below via its video, directed by Joshua Ford.

The group’s Brian Case said in a statement that the sentiment of the song is “…don’t let the bastards get you down, there’s something beyond this moment, like hope—but not in the naive belief that ultimately people are good.”

Wish Defense follows 2023’s Still Life in Decay. FACS’ debut Negative Houses is featured on our list of 10 Essential Trouble in Mind Albums.
