Hear a new song from Drop Nineteens, “The Price Was High”
During the summer, shoegaze legends Drop Nineteens announced the release of their first new album in three decades, Hard Light, which is being released via Wharf Cat on November 3. Today, the band has released the final single from the album before it’s officially out, “The Price Was High.” The song rides a deep bass groove and carries a bit of a strut and a swagger, while remaining washed in a heavy haze of guitars. Hear it below, via its video, directed by Jake LaGuardia.
Hard Light is featured on our list of the Most Anticipated Albums of Fall 2023.
