Hear Cave People’s dreamy new waltz, “Strong”
On August 28, Cave People will release their new album Looking via Disposable America. Today, the Philadelphia-based band is sharing new single “Strong.” It’s the album’s closing track, and it’s a dreamy, beautiful waltz that has the shimmering jangle of Real Estate balanced with the more meditative sound of a group like Galaxie 500 or Pure X. It’s catchy, yet immersive and laid-back, a perfect song for summertime daydreaming—not like there’s a whole lot else we can do right now!

The album is being released on cassette by Disposable America and on vinyl via Stereophonodon Records. The band is donating all proceeds to Black Lives Matter charities.
