Hear CS Cleaners’ agitated punk jam, “AAAA”

On June 26, Brooklyn punk group CS Cleaners release their full-length debut What’s This? via Wharf Cat. And today, they’ve shared a new single, “AAAA,” a taut post-punk jam with an infectious bass groove, abrasive guitars and a vocal chant approach that’ll be hard not to sing along to after a few listens. It’s a little no wave, a little dancepunk, and a lot of agitated fun. Hear it below and see the band’s upcoming tour dates.

The group said about the song, “Instrumentally, the song draws influence from bands like Protomartyr & Women, featuring a dancey rhythm section and sparse guitars that provide a distorted texture to the otherwise bouncy rhythm. The lyrics are about realizing you are aging and feeling like you are out of time.”
