Earlier this month, Irreversible Entanglements announced a new album, Future Present Past, out March 27 via Impulse! After releasing two early singles, they’ve shared another new song, “Juntos Vencemos,” which features Helado Negro. Hear it below.

The group said about the song in a statement: “‘Juntos Vencemos’ means ‘together we overcome’ in Spanish. At one point in our recording session at Rudy Van Gelder studio, we gathered spontaneously in the center of the main room, collected our percussion and, without plans or fanfare or being told what to do, commenced collaborating in the moment. A moment of trust, listening, and action. Such acts honor the human divinity of togetherness and unity, in order to create a multidimensional healing force beyond the power of singularity. Outside authority, boxes, quotas. What more needs to be said that won’t land the sayer on a watchlist, in a cage, or worse?

Irreversible Entanglements’ last album was 2023’s Protect Your Light.
