June of 44 announce their first new music in two decades
Rolling Stone reports that June of 44 are preparing for their first new release in over two decades. The band—formed in 1994 and comprising former members of Codeine, Rodan and Hoover—will release Revisionist: Adaptations & Future Histories In The Time Of Love And Survival in August via Broken Clover. The album comprises some of the band’s older material, including tracks from their final album Anahata and their installment in the In the Fishtank EP series, re-recorded and reconfigured into radically altered forms. It also includes remixes done by Matmos and Tortoise’s John McEntire. The group shared one track from the album, “ReRecorded Syntax,” which can be heard over at Rolling Stone. Take a look at the tracklist for the upcoming release below and pre-order it via Bandcamp.
