Hear Orcas’ gorgeously gloomy dream pop song “Riptide”
Ambient pop group Orcas—the duo of Benoît Pioulard and Rafael Anton Irisarri—are releasing their first new album in a decade, How to Color A Thousand Mistakes, on July 19 via Morr Music. And today, they’ve shared a new song from the album, “Riptide.” It’s a dreamy and lush dream pop song awash in fluttering synths and gloomy post-punk guitars, reminiscent of recent Slowdive or M83 on a particularly melancholy day. It’s gorgeously immersive, and you can hear the new song below via its new video.
