Dire Wolves album premiere

On Friday, November 9, San Francisco’s Dire Wolves release their new album Paradisiacal Mind via Feeding Tube/Cardinal Fuzz. And today, Treble is premiering the album in its entirety. It’s a spacey, cosmic and spiritual set of psychedelic sounds, combining influences from krautrock, spiritual jazz, prog and more avant garde musical realms—at times sounding like Pharoah Sanders jamming with Ash Ra Tempel. It’s quite a trip, perhaps the sort of thing that’s necessary to give a spin during the chaos of a national election. It’s a weird and wonderful set of sounds from a band that’s always headed toward some new and unfamiliar realm. Listen to Dire Wolves’ Paradisiacal Mind below.

Dire Wolves tour dates:

11/6 – El Rio – San Francisco, CA (with 3 Moons, Louise Bock, Andy Puls)
11/10 – The Mothership – Philadelphia, PA (with Curanderos, Garcia Peoples)
