The Serfs share new motorik post-punk single, “Beat Me Down”
Next week, Cincinnati post-punk group The Serfs release their new album Half Eaten by Dogs via Trouble In Mind. They’ve already shared a couple singles, including the Essential Track “Club Deuce.” On their latest, “Beat Me Down,” the group leans a little away from the more dancefloor-oriented sound of that early single in favor of a janglier post-punk approach. Hear it below and take a look at the band’s upcoming live dates as well.
The group said about the song in a statement, “For all the sycophants who feed on disdain and contempt; may you go hungry while this one’s coming through the stereo.”
Half Eaten by Dogs is featured on our list of the Most Anticipated Albums of Fall 2023.
