The War on Drugs – “Under the Pressure”
The War on Drugs have shared another new video from their phenomenal new album Lost In The Dream. Following the more humorous “Red Eyes” clip, the Houmam-directed video for leadoff track “Under the Pressure” is a bit more melancholy and psychedelic. There are lots of distorted visual effects and muted tones, with individual shots of the band’s members playing their instruments in an abandoned Philadelphia house, touched up with lots of trippy colors. It’s fairly similar to the visual aesthetic the band used on the cover of the album, come to think of it. In any case, it’s cool, and here’s the interesting part — it’s not a radio edit. The video contains all nine minutes of the song, so get comfortable and watch it all unfold.
